- In 2005, EEIGM, with its institutional partners, created a two-year multinational Master in Advanced Materials Science and Engineering
- Students in the Advanced Materials Science and Engineering programme from University of Lorraine carry out the first two semesters in a partner university of their choice; the third semester is spent in one of the other universities of the consortium. The fourth semester consists of a research project in a laboratory of one of the two universities where the student has studied. Students receive a double Master’s degree from the two universities concerned.
Programme Structure
Curriculum:
- In the EEIGM engineering course, classes are taught in French in Nancy, Spanish in Barcelona, in English in Lulea and in German in Saarbrucken.
- This Master’s degree has been awarded the prestigious title of « Erasmus Mundus » by the European Commission in Brussels. This title is granted to just 100 Masters (of all disciplines) throughout Europe.
