In 2005, EEIGM, with its institutional partners, created a two-year multinational Master in Advanced Materials Science and Engineering

Students in the Advanced Materials Science and Engineering programme from University of Lorraine carry out the first two semesters in a partner university of their choice; the third semester is spent in one of the other universities of the consortium. The fourth semester consists of a research project in a laboratory of one of the two universities where the student has studied. Students receive a double Master’s degree from the two universities concerned.

Programme Structure

Curriculum:

In the EEIGM engineering course, classes are taught in French in Nancy, Spanish in Barcelona, in English in Lulea and in German in Saarbrucken.

This Master’s degree has been awarded the prestigious title of « Erasmus Mundus » by the European Commission in Brussels. This title is granted to just 100 Masters (of all disciplines) throughout Europe.
