Overview

Why and how do organisations succeed? How do novel ideas, innovations, and opportunities convert into entrepreneurial ventures and competitive advantage? In the IBE programme, we examine these key questions from the perspectives of individuals and organisations. We aim at understanding the decision-making and actions of organisations in political, technological, and institutional landscapes.

Study objectives

After completing the Master's Degree Programme in International Business and Entrepreneurship at the University of Jyväskylä , graduates will be ready to work in demanding managerial posts in international companies, as management consultants, or as entrepreneurs in their own businesses. Whichever path is envisaged, the programme will prepare graduates so that they have an entrepreneurial and strategic mindset, with solid analytical skills.

The programme is a generalist programme with a comprehensive perspective. IBE provides students with competences that are applicable in different sectors of the economy, different types of jobs, and different environments.
