The Master represents an opportunity for interdisciplinary specialization with both theoretical and practical components which correspond to the requirements of a multi-faceted professional area. The MA in Art Markets is the fruit of a collaboration between Iscte and the Faculty of Letters at the University of Lisbon, establishing the intersection of Management and Art History.

- This program is rated in the 13th position among the Best Masters Ranking 2021 in the area of Art Market. This program is also part of the international master’s consortium on Managing Art & Cultural Heritage in Global Markets, bringing together the expertise of five universities: Iscte, FLUL, University of Glasgow, Erasmus University Rotterdam and Institut d’Etudes Supérieures des Arts in Paris.
- To attend to the strong international component of this sector two trips abroad will be organized for the purpose of observing events relevant to international art markets, namely art fairs and/or biannuals.
- This Art Markets program at ISCTE - University Institute of Lisbon is designed both for individuals already integrated into the workforce of and to recent graduates from different areas of study, including Art History, Fine Arts. Law, Anthropology, Sociology, Conservation and Restoration, Management and Economics.
