Overview
Graduate of the Chemical Technologies graduates from Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava:
- can apply thermodynamic knowledge to applied problems of chemical technologies, work with physicochemical data necessary for the description of physical and chemical processes
- can solve the processes of chemical technology in terms of thermodynamic laws can use knowledge from balancing, thermodynamics of multiphase systems and material transfer theory for calculations of mixture separation
- can evaluate kinetic data
- can apply knowledge of inorganic and organic substances used in inorganic and organic technology and in the oil industry
- can design chemical reactors, simulate and optimize their operation

Employability of graduates
Graduates will find employment in chemical companies, universities, and research institutes. They can also be employed by consulting and construction companies as well as by domestic and foreign commercial - technological organizations.
The study programme versatility allows the graduate to be employed in all countries of the European Union in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries in jobs requiring a master’s degree education. After additional training, they will find positions in other technical areas, thanks to the acquired technical way of thinking.
