The purpose of the Geoengineering programme offered by the National Technical University of Ukraine: Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute program is training of specialists in the field of production and technologies capable of solving complex scientific and practical problems of geoengineering on the basis of conducting research and creating innovations related to the geo-construction development of subsoil and underground space of megacities.

The main focus is special education in geo-structural subsoil development, design, construction, ensuring reliable operation, reconstruction or renovation of underground objects of various purposes, taking into account international standards and Eurocodes.

Programme Structure

The program includes 3 cycles of academic disciplines. The first cycle of general training that will help you acquire the necessary soft skills that will help you for successful employment. The second cycle includes professional training disciplines that will help you expand your functionality as a specialist and improve the skills you have already acquired during your undergraduate studies. The third cycle includes optional disciplines that you can choose for yourself. In this way, you become a full participant in the educational process and will be able to adjust the educational program to your needs.
