Overview

This Periodontology program from Yeditepe University consists of a didactic, a clinical and a research component. The didactic component is delivered using different learning methods, but includes an extensive overview of the periodontal literature, both current and historical. The clinical component includes the treatment of all patients referred for periodontal therapy and the fulfilment of a set of competencies and proficiencies defined by the European Federation of Periodontology and competence-based curriculum according to the ADEE. The research component includes the undertaking of a research project by the graduating students, whose results should be presented in the form of a written report.

Objective

Our main objective as the department of Periodontology is to produce specialists with self-confidence who are compatible with the society, who are able to make independent decisions and assume responsibilities, who are research-minded, scientific, productive, committed to medical and ethical principles and who are aware of the significance of lifelong learning.

National identity card (both sides) or passport.
Transcript.
Foreign Language Exam results certificate (obtained within the last five years; at least 55 points from the YDS or YÖKDİL exams or at least 66 points from the TOEFL IBT).
When applying to Master's programs, Yeditepe graduates and those who have graduated from programs taught entirely in English are exempt from the language proficiency requirement.
