Overview
The Data Science and Information Technologies MSc programme from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens focuses on subjects related to the management, processing, analysis, and software for massive or complex data, in addition to machine learning and AI technologies, as well as on mathematical models, algorithms, statistical analysis, and image analysis methods for computational and structural biology, bioinformatics, and systems biology, in the era of genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and other heterogeneous omics data used for improving human health.

Graduates are fully equipped with a number of important skills that is allowing them to continue their career in research, typically towards a PhD, to join a wide spectrum of industrial labs and organizations, or even to create their own companies in the aforementioned and other related domains.
