Overview
The Turkish Language and Literature program from Bogazici University consists of graduate courses of 21 credits, a non-credit seminar course and a graduate thesis. Along with the courses required by the department, students complete their graduate courses of 21 credits with departmental electives related to the areas they want to specialize in as well as courses on the humanities and social sciences given by other departments of the university.
What you'll study
The first year of the graduate program is allocated for the courses; the second year is allocated for the thesis. In the Turkish Language and Literature graduate program, students take common courses from the areas of both old and modern Turkish literature. However, they choose their thesis subjects with a specialization in either old or modern literature.
