The Food and Beverage Innovation and Management programme from Marche Polytechnic University is to ensure the safety, quality, healthiness, and sustainability of food and beverages, in line with the principles of bioeconomy and circular economy.

Key facts

The primary objective of the graduate’s professional activity is the continuous improvement of food and beverages in terms of hygiene, sensory quality, nutrition, economics, and convenience, through the innovation of technological processes and products.

To achieve this, the study program is designed to equip graduates with the ability to:

• Develop and formulate new food products, beverages, and food ingredients with high nutritional value.
• Design, standardize, and manage processes aimed at promoting nutritional quality and food and beverage safety, in alignment with environmental sustainability principles.
• Combine technologies and methodologies to innovate products and production processes in order to enhance raw materials, optimize energy resource use, reduce waste, and manage production by-products with a focus on sustainability.
• Integrate innovation and sustainability within the framework of Italian agri-food tradition, and more broadly, Mediterranean traditions.
• Manage production processes using knowledge of business economics, marketing, and food law, including EU and international regulations.
