Overview

The Business Administration programme is taught at the National University of Sciences and Technology. Since its inception, there has been a significant increase in its student intake, which has risen from the pioneering batch of 97 in 1999 to the current approximate strength of 1250. There has been an ever-growing demand for NBS graduates in the industry which can be credited to the enviable standards of education and research being imparted by the faculty.

Faculty

Around 90% of the faculty members have PhD degrees from leading national and international universities whereas the rest have professional and industry experience. The School encourages the faculty and students to undertake research-oriented activities that include participation in conferences, publications in refereed journals and our own ‘NUST Business Review’ and conduct of R&D projects and consultancies.

Career opportunities

The School strongly believes in close interaction between academia and industry and every effort is made to bring the two closer through frequent liaison, joint field projects, research activities, workshops, seminars and lectures by industry experts. Student internships at leading organizations are facilitated through the placement and career development office at the school besides a similar set-up at the University.

The admission of students in the various disciplines of the Masters programs will be based upon GRE (General)/ GMAT (as applicable) or GAT (General) conducted by NTS or Higher Education Apptitude Test (HAT) conducted by HEC with at least 50 accumulative test score, previous academic record of the applicant, and an interview conducted by the respective Institutions.
