The Human Nutrition and Dietetics program from Government College University Faisalabad is committed to provide good Nutritionists/ Dietician as well as good human beings to society so that they may have theoretical and practical contribution for the betterment of humanity. The department assures to produce highly skilled Nutritionists capable of making significant contribution in the different community sectors and related fields both in academia and industry at national and international levels.

Objectives

To produce competent Nutritionists/Dieticians with adequate scientific background to meet the needs of public and private sector
To provide professional leadership, services and outreach activities in the major areas of Nutritional Sciences
To resolve issues oriented in the field of Nutrition

General requirements

The candidates must have passed MA/MSc or BS 4-years (minimum 130 credit hours) or equivalent degree in the relevant field from HEC recognized institution with at least 50%marks (Under Annual System) or 2.50 CGPA (Under Semester System) for admission to MS/MPhil programs.
The MPhil candidate have to clear University admission test (60% qualifying marks) or GRE/HAT General or equivalent conducted by HEC with 50% qualifying marks.

The respective Dean/Incharge Faculty will supervise the test and interview as part of admission process.
Candidates working in the Government/Semi Government or Private Institutions shall have to submit “No Objection Certificate” from the concerned organization.
