Overview

NEOMA Business School ’s MSc Cultural & Creative Industries prepares students to manage projects and organisations across the arts, media and entertainment sectors. Taught entirely in English on the Rouen campus, the programme examines both the management of artistic activities and the economic, social and technological changes reshaping creative industries.

Students explore the production, distribution, digitalisation and marketing of cultural content across music, cinema, television, publishing, performing arts and visual arts. The curriculum also covers arts management, cultural policy, intellectual property, cultural diplomacy, corporate social responsibility and the management of publishing houses.

The programme combines academic study with collaborative projects, case analysis and contributions from industry professionals. Guided visits and meetings at organisations such as the Musée des Beaux-Arts and the Opéra de Rouen provide additional insight into cultural institutions. Students also develop project management, research, writing and critical-thinking skills before completing a four-to-six-month professional experience in France or abroad.

Graduates can pursue careers in film and television production, cultural marketing and communications, project management, sales, fundraising, sponsorship or cultural consulting. They may also hold administrative and management positions within museums, theatres, foundations, publishing houses, media companies and other creative organisations.
