Key features
This official Master in Connected Industry 4.0 at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid is aimed at training students interested in working in companies that are accomplishing the transition to CI4.0 in a multidisciplinary way. It is necessary to combine the knowledge of industrial engineering (automation, robotics, mechanics) and telecommunications engineering (5G, industrial protocols, cybersecurity) with other disciplines such as industrial organization and Big Data analysis. Without forgetting the system integration part.
The Master, which is taught entirely in English, is professionally focused in multinational environments. It will allow students to learn the fundamental technologies associated with CI4.0, taught by teachers from five areas of knowledge. In addition, the most innovative applications will be analyzed by industry experts. Internships will be offered in the main companies in the sector, as well as scholarships for tuition.
It is a Master's degree with official recognition, in a public university of maximum prestige and at public prices.

General requirements
The requirements for access to the Master are as follows:
- Bachelor's or Master's degrees from the branches of Industrial Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering (or the old equivalent titles of Higher Engineering), may be admitted without requirement of specific professional experience in the Industrial Engineering or Telecommunication sector.
- Degree holders from the branches of Aeronautical Engineering, Naval Engineering or Computer Engineering (or the old equivalent titles of Higher Engineering), may be admitted if they have a minimum of two years of professional experience in the Industrial or Telecommunication sector.
- Graduates in non-engineering degrees, but considered related, such as Physics and Mathematics, may be admitted if they have a minimum of five years of professional experience in the Industrial or Telecommunication sector.
