The Master in Education from Universidade Nova de Lisboa helps students deepen skills in areas as learning, interdisciplinary, curricular development, research methodologies, technologies, sciences, education and interconnection with non-institutional learning.

The course also has as objectives:

to respond to the training needs and motivations in the various specialization areas, reflecting on the theoretical knowledge concerning teaching and learning, complementing the scientific knowledge taught, discussing teaching practices and forms of school and educational organization and further promoting the education of reflective professionals;
to view school and education in a global and multidisciplinary way integrating various stakeholders and levels of education.
