This Amputation and Prosthetic Rehabilitation MSc course offered by the University of Southampton is a great way to improve your specialist knowledge if you already work, or would like to work, in this area. You’ll explore contemporary issues related to limb loss, and develop expertise in research, clinical practice and commerce. This will involve studying a wide range of current issues facing the delivery of amputation and prosthetic rehabilitation in a variety of different settings, including:

- global issues related to limb loss and access to prosthetic service
- prosthetic componentry and the prosthetic industry
- charity settings across different sectors
- engagement in occupations
- exercise and paralympic sport

The course is delivered by healthcare rehabilitation experts whose amputation and prosthetics research is helping to develop the field. It also looks at the perspectives of patients, families, carers and clinicians taking a person-centred approach.
