Overview
The Allergy programme from University of Southampton is designed for healthcare professionals who want to:
- expand their understanding of multiple aspects of allergy
- improve their own clinical service
- pass on your new knowledge to your colleagues, adult and paediatric patients and their families
It is an online course that you can complete in 2 to 5 years part time. You must take 3 mandatory learning modules but can then choose from 7 optional ones.
Our courses are flexible, so you can progress to the MSc from the postgraduate certificate or diploma in Allergy, both of which require less time to complete.
If you’re a doctor, nurse, dietitian, clinical psychologist or pharmacist working in a hospital or your community, this course will help you:

- You need at least a 2:2 degree in a relevant subject.
- This course is also available as an intercalation degree for undergraduate medical students.
- We may also consider an application if you have a relevant professional qualification, for example you may be a registered nurse without an undergraduate degree.
