Overview

Throughout the Electrical or Mechanical Engineering - Mastertrack Artificial Intelligence Engineering Systems MSc programme from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) you are not restricted to any subjects. You may use your elective options to study technical or non-technical topics of your choice to broaden your perspective so you can also choose courses from other departments at TU/e, from other universities, and even from universities abroad. For this, an approval of our Examination Committee is needed.

You will be given training and opportunities to develop your general professional capabilities throughout your program. An essential part will be a programming training using state-of-the-art toolboxes and real world data. You will also learn how to formulate a research question to conduct literature review and to communicate research results.  During your graduation project, you will learn how to write and present scientific information at an academic level.

Career opportunities:

As a graduate in Artificial Intelligence, you will have developed a scientific perspective combined with a practical approach that forms an excellent foundation for a successful career. There is a large need for engineers who combine disciplinary knowledge and AI knowledge, and there are numerous fields in which AI is applied, which means that you could find yourself in any number of roles. You will find AI applied in research laboratories, banks, (government) organizations, hospitals, multinationals and internet companies, to name a few.

Finding a job is not a problem for our alumni. As the program is taught in English, our alumni can also easily find jobs at companies or universities abroad.
