Overview
Acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to have a real impact on today’s major energy and pollution challenges with Water, Air Pollution and Energies (Year 2) program at Institut Polytechnique de Paris.
The Water, Air Pollution and Energies (Year 2) Master presents the dynamical, physical and biochemical processes driving oceans, atmosphere, air pollution and water cycles. The challenges of producing renewable energy are also addressed. Students will explore modern meteorological and oceanographic modelling and forecasting methods, as well as innovative observational techniques.
The first year is dedicated to the fundamentals in Mechanics. The research areas covers environmental sciences, complex fluids, turbulence, waves, smart structures and metamaterials.
You may benefit from a world-class learning experience and study in another university during one semester through an alliance between the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, Sorbonne Université, Ecole Normale Supérieure, Ecole des Ponts ParisTech and Columbia University.
A five month internship in a company or a research lab will help you gain experience.
