History
The Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) is a world-class Institute of science and technology encompassing 6 prestigious French engineering Schools: École polytechnique, École nationale des ponts et chaussées (ENPC), ENSTA Paris, ENSAE Paris, Télécom Paris, Télécom SudParis. Established in May 2019, he capitalizes on the 200 years of expertise of its 6 founding Schools.
Education
- IP Paris and its Schools offer a wide array of educational programs to meet the needs of students as well as professionals. Students are admitted through an extremely selective recruitment process and receive a high-quality education from faculty members and experts who are renowned in their fields.
- The programs offered at Institut Polytechnique de Paris allow future graduates to acquire the skills they need to adapt to an increasingly competitive job market, whatever their desired field.
Research
The quality of research at IP Paris is based on a wide range of disciplinary expertise in all fields of knowledge. The pooling of this expertise within collaborative structures and the development of research infrastructures is aimed at deepening and broadening this knowledge.
In addition to these renowned disciplinary skills, the interdisciplinary approach encouraged by the development of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris allows problems to be tackled from different angles. By exchanging their views, know-how and methods in a spirit of openness, researchers can thus provide complementary, original and innovative solutions to the major societal problems and scientific issues facing our world.

Best experience ever - Master IoT
It was one of the best experiences of my life, with very strong opportunities for development on academic, personal and professional levels. Within the Masters community, the student body is very diverse and caring for one another. However, some courses could be taught in a more dynamic way, especially the scientific classes.
Rigorous Engineering & AI Training
Studying at HIAST has been a defining professional experience. As an institute modeled after the French "Grandes Écoles" system, it selects only the top students in the country. The curriculum provided me with an exceptionally strong foundation in advanced mathematics and algorithms before diving into specialized Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence topics. What I appreciated most was the emphasis on practical engineering. We were not just taught to use existing AI tools, but to understand their mathematical underpinnings and architect scalable systems around them. This approach enabled me to build complex projects, such as my Violence Action Detection pipeline, using limited resources. The academic workload is intense and requires significant discipline, which has prepared me well for international research environments. While access to high-end hardware resources can sometimes be challenging, it taught us to write highly optimized and efficient code. Overall, HIAST is a center of excellence that shapes resilient and versatile engineers.
