The programme is primarily aimed at foreign students and is taught in English.
Key Facts
The programme has a broader focus and it is designed to provide students with sufficient information for agricultural production and management of the agricultural landscape. Emphasis is also placed on competences the work with literature and the ability to solve specific problems. For the second, the Multifunctional Agriculture will provide students of the ERASMUS+ exchange programme with a thematically comprehensive semester of education. Students can choose one or more semesters, depending on the orientation of study at the home university.
Programme Structure
The degree programme is divided into four thematically linked semesters:
- first semester – biological base of agriculture unifies knowledge of students from geographically and climatically different countries to the level needed for successful completion of other semesters
- second semester – conventional farming apart from cultivation and breeding-focused subjects, also agricultural biotechnologies
- third semester – organic farming presents knowledge on planning sustainable systems of agricultural management, cultivating plants and breeding animals within ecological agriculture as well as on the processing of bioproduction at farms, social agriculture and agrotourism.
- fourth semester – landscape management addresses questions concerning landscape planning, regional management and soil erosion protection.
