TOEFL admission requirements TOEFL® IBT The TOEFL iBT® is given online through the internet at designated testing site. The test measures your English-language abilities in an academic setting. The score refers to the total score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading), each subject has a range of 0 - 30.

Other requirements

General requirements

To qualify for this M.Sc. program you first need to have successfully completed your first study program with a minimum study period of six semesters and have achieved a final grade

  • at a university or
  • an equivalent foreign higher education institution, and

Additionally, you will have to take part in a multi-level admissions test.

You must have previously taken examinations in business studies and/or economics with at least 15 ECTS points in mathematics, statistics, economics (such as empirical economics) or computer science.

Alternatively, examinations from a degree program in business mathematics, (business) computer science or engineering/(business) engineering must be proven with at least 15 ECTS from the field of economics.

If you have studied a non-economic bachelor, ISM offers a Pre-Master program to prepare for this study. We check this individually.
