Key Features
The European Master in Health Economics and Management (Eu-HEM) is a unique two-year master’s programme, organised by Erasmus University Rotterdam and three partnering universities. This programme prepares you for a career in staff and executive positions in organizations and institutions involved in both national and international healthcare provision. Such as national hospitals, international pharmaceutical companies, aid organisations, governmental agencies, research institutions, etc.
Specializations
Depending on your specialisation you have the opportunity to study at four top European universities. The European Master in Health Economics and Management offers four specialisations:
- Management of Healthcare Institutions;
- Economic Evaluation in Healthcare;
- Health Economics & Policy;
- Population Health Management.
Programme Structure
In the first semester, we set the base. Topics like economics, management, statistics and econometrics are covered. Just like an introduction to ethics, political science and law.
From the second semester on, you decide on your field of expertise. We offer you four different tracks. Depending on your desired track, you choose the cities where you will study.
