- At least a bachelor's degree from a recognised Dutch university programme with a good overall result, or an equivalent qualification from an international institution.
- Some training in economics at university level, combined with a sustained interest in arts and culture documented in academic studies and/or vocational experience.
- Well-documented interest in the cultural sector, as indicated by courses taken or practical experience.
- Academic training in empirical research methods.
