This Health and Medical Simulation programme from University of Hertfordshire will provide students with the opportunity to develop these core skills and to maximise the utility of simulation in their own practice.

In addition to being a highly sought after method of learning and teaching, clinical simulation is increasingly being used to inform systems design and proactive risk management to improve services and enhance patient safety.

The programme of study follows a flexible, modular approach which offers students the opportunity to study a comprehensive range of subjects pertinent to the provision of high-quality simulation education practice.

The curriculum contained within the two specialist modules includes simulation pedagogy, the design and delivery of scenarios, contemporary debriefing, planning simulation facilities, programming simulators, patient-safety, human factors and non-technical skills, clinical governance, risk management.
