At The Business Application Architectures program from Furtwangen University, you'll learn how to design complex applications based on the fundamentals of software engineering and technical system structures. The focus is on structural aspects of system design and coupling, such as architecture patterns, reference architectures and concepts of data exchange between systems, with the aim of developing scalable and robust applications.

General requirements

To apply for a place on the Business Application Architectures programme, you need a first degree and language skills.
In detail - you need a first, above-average, professionally qualifying university degree in the field of computer science, business information systems or similar. The degree should have taken at least three years of full-time study and be a bachelor, master, magister or diplom from a German university, or an equivalent.
For language skills - if your native language is not German, you must provide proof of good German language proficiency, at least level DaF TDN4, CEFR B2.2, ALTE level 4 or equivalent. If your native language is German, you do not need to send us proof of your language skills.

Foreign nationals with a German university entrance qualification are admitted in the same way as German nationals.
