General requirements

- Successful completion of a recognised Nursing degree (equivalent to an Australian Bachelors degree).
- Applicants must be a Division 1 Registered Nurse and hold a current practising certificate with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). This does not apply to International applicants.
- Entry to Neonatal specialties and non-clinical specialties is open to Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Registered Midwives with a Bachelor qualification (or equivalent).
- Applicants for the clinical streams must either already be employed in the relevant clinical specialist area or an approved agency, or have applied to the agency to undertake your clinical placement at the time of applying for the course. In the latter case, an offer into the course will be conditional upon confirmation of the clinical placement.
- 6.5 IELTS (Academic) with no individual band less than 6.0.
