Overview

The Earth Sciences - Global Environmental Change And Policy course at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam looks at global earth and environmental systems, addressing international challenges such as climate change, the energy transition, sustainable development, natural hazards, and biodiversity loss.

It brings together different disciplines from climate studies, to environmental sciences, geography, economics, and policy. In your first year, international fieldwork allows you to apply your skills to real-world challenges. The focus extends beyond Dutch cases, aiming for broader inclusion by exploring cross-border issues.
