Overview
The part-time Management Studies programme of the University of Amsterdam is designed for ambitious professionals wishing to pursue a Master of Science degree in Business Administration alongside their regular employment. The structure and pace of our programme will help you to earn the MSc in 18 months. Because we keep our classes small, you have all the opportunities to interact with your fellow students and lecturers.
If you do not have a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from a research university in a business field, you will first take our pre-Master’s programme for a maximum of half a year.
Broaden your knowledge of Business Administration
If you already have a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Administration, you can broaden your knowledge in this field with our 18-month part-time programme. Our professors and lecturers all have a doctoral degree and are at the forefront of business administration research. They will invite you to discuss and form your own view on a wide variety of operational as well as strategic issues that companies face today and in the future.
By applying theory to exciting real-world cases and to your own organisation, your learning curve will be steep, helping you to become a leader in your management field of interest.
Expect interesting lectures and guest lectures from enthusiastic academic and industry experts. You have plenty of opportunity to ask individual questions and discuss answers with lecturers thanks to the small size of the groups.
Your academic thinking will be challenged by discussing theory and having you apply the acquired knowledge to real business cases as well as to your own company.
You will team up with fellow students to find solutions for complex business issues, offering you the opportunity to widen your perspective and have a great learning experience.
