Overview
The Mathematics, M.Sc. at Nipissing University offers a comprehensive graduate education designed to bridge the gap between theoretical mathematical foundations and practical applications. This programme provides students with the rigorous analytical tools necessary for high-level research, industrial problem-solving, and professional advancement.
Candidates can select from two distinct pathways to suit their academic goals. The Major Research Paper route is designed as a one-year full-time programme focused on independent scholarly analysis. Alternatively, the Thesis route allows for deeper specialisation over two years of full-time study or four years of flex-time study, often involving interdisciplinary research.
