Graduates demonstrate the knowledge to research and develop findings about nature conservation in relevant areas to use these results in practice and to transform and process this information in their study area. Graduates have skills in information and communication technologies. Graduates find employment easily in many institutions dealing with nature conservation and landscape protection. They are able to provide the objective information about the quality and the development of the natural environment and they can participate in a variety of other activities, such as training seminars in the field of Environmental Sciences, Ecology, and Nature Conservation .

Graduates understand theories, concepts and methods commonly used in nature conservation (conservation of biological diversity). Knowledge concerns latest findings in the field. The graduates’ knowledge serves as a basis for seminal thoughts in research. Graduates have critical awareness of the problems relating to their area of studies and interactions with other areas. They acquired comprehensive and profound theoretical and practical knowledge in biological and ecological areas (geology, zoology, hydrobiology, botany, dendrology, genetics, basic ecology and environment ecology) evolved by, e.g., conservation biology, biodiversity conservation, plant and animal ekology nad conservation, ecosystems managemement and conservation, conservation genetics, hydrobiology and phytosociobiology.

Conservation of other environmental compartments, landscape ecology and conservation, agriculture, water policy, forestecology and management, game management and fishery are also evolved as well as reclamation, watercourse revitalization, conservation management, landscape planning, land consolidation and biological assessment. Accented are also methods of ecological data processing, GIS, environmental economics, conservation law and conservation policy. They are fully aware of the limits of their knowledge and can conceive the contents of further studies in these areas.

GRE admission requirements GRE® The GRE® General Test is a widely administered admissions test that measures the skills needed in today's graduate and business school programs worldwide. It contains three sections - Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. Three scores are reported: a Verbal Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, a Quantitative Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, and an Analytical Writing score on a 0 - 6 score scale in half-point increments.
GMAT admission requirements GMAT The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a test intended to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA. GMAT contains 4 sections - Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal. The score has a range from 200 - 800.

IELTS admission requirements IELTS The International English Language Test System (IELTS) tests your English-language proficiency on a scale of 1 – 9. The score refers to the combined average score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading).
TOEFL admission requirements TOEFL® IBT The TOEFL iBT® is given online through the internet at desiganated testing site. The test measures your English-language abilities in an academic setting. The score refers to the total score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading), each subject has a range of 0 - 30.
PTE Academic admission requirements PTE Academic PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic) is a language test that enables students to demonstrate their writing, listening, speaking, and reading skills when applying to study in English. The score refers to a total score which ranges between 10 and 90.

The tuition fee (charged in Czech koruna - CZK) is 12 500 CZK (i.e. approx. 480 EUR).


Excellent study result scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to the student on the basis of excellent study results in bachelor's or master's degree programmes and the scholarship eligibility is evaluated every semester. For a study average of less than 1.20, the scholarship is currently CZK 4600/month. For an average of 1.21 to 1.40, the amount is currently set at CZK 230/month. The scholarship is paid for a maximum of 9 months per each academic year. Excellent applicants can even get the scholarship from the beginning of the study. Please note, that the actual amounts and conditions vary in each academic year.

Housing scholarship

Once you become a CULS student, you are likely entitled to a housing scholarship.
