Engineering Management, Master

  • Application Deadline
  • 18 months
In today's highly competitive environment, it is important for managers to understand the technical and social processes of a business organization, to follow the international developments in their sectors with respect to these areas, and to monitor their competitors. Learn about it in the Engineering Management programme at TED University.

For this purpose, graduates holding a bachelor’s degree in management or social sciences such as business administration and economics should acquire skills of applying optimization based analytical methods in decision-making processes of manufacturing and service systems. Similarly, graduates of engineering and natural sciences programs, such as mathematics and statistics, should learn basic management principles and optimization of decision-making processes.

This Engineering Management program at TED University also offers the participants the opportunity to learn how to turn an innovative idea into a new product or service along with the most efficient ways of managing business operations.

Due to their interdisciplinary character, the program courses are jointly offered by the Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering and Civil Engineering departments.

Those who wish to gain in-depth knowledge and experience in specific implementation areas may follow the non-thesis program, and those with intense academic inclinations are offered the thesis program, in which they conduct graduate level research.

With the help of a rich elective pool offered together with the required fundamental courses, the participants are provided with the option of selecting a focus area among alternative areas of specialization such as Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Operations Management, Decision Analysis and Risk Management, Business Process Management, and Construction Management. Both the thesis and non-thesis programs are conducted in English.
