Overview
Engineering and Computing Programme offered by Liverpool John Moores University aims to provide you with knowledge of the fundamental concepts within computer science and an understanding of hardware, software and issues around design and usability. You will learn how to use and select different IT applications and bases for particular situations. By the end of the module you will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the core concepts of key technologies and physical infrastructure elements used in computing. You will also be able to examine the nature and development of software and explain how computing interacts with social, organisational and individual user factors.
