What career can I follow with fashion management?
The fashion industry is colorful, diverse and offers you numerous fields of application after your master's degree. In addition to creative designs, fashion requires above all experts in customer needs and economic processes. As a fashion manager, for example, you will be responsible for the marketing of brands and designs, and as a retail manager you will be responsible for managing branches and stores.
You can start your career thanks to your profound know-how in business administration and specialist knowledge in many areas of fashion and consumer goods, such as:
- Brand management, product development or product management
- Trend scouting (international fashion and lifestyle trends)
- Store management marketing and e-commerce

Admission process:
Document Pre-Check:Send the following documents to your study advisor for an initial review:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Bachelor’s Degree (or transcript of records if not yet graduated) from a recognized university or equivalent institution, with at least 30 ECTS in business-related subjects
- Proof of English Proficiency (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS 6.0) if your previous education was not in English
Note: If your degree is not in business or lacks sufficient quantitative credits, you may qualify through the ISM Pre-Master program (1 semester, 30 ECTS).
Online Admission Test:
After document approval, you’ll be asked to register for the online admission test. Following this, you’ll receive a confirmation of enrollment with a link to the Online Application Portal and the interview details.

There are no fixed applications deadlines here at ISM, but we kindly ask international applicants who require a visa for studying in Germany to submit their application documents by
• July 15th of the same year for the programs starting in fall term.

Living costs for München
The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
Funding
As a private university of applied sciences, the ISM is solely funded by study fees.
However, the ISM offers some grants and scholarships, including partial and some full scholarships. Many other study financing options are available from third parties.If you would like to apply for an ISM scholarship, applications can be submitted with an already passed ISM admission test for the- upcoming summer semester from November 15 until December 15
- upcoming winter semester from May 15 until June 15.
