Description
This merit-based award is exclusive to International Students who commenced a full-time and full duration undergraduate programme at the Queen’s University Belfast campus.
Benefits
£3,000 award paid only as a discount from tuition fees, no cash alternative is available.
Where a student achieves a GPA of at least 75% in the final year of their programme, the Queen’s Excellence Award will not be applied in the subsequent year, since no further full annual tuition fees are payable
Eligibility
- This merit-based award is exclusive to International Students who commenced a full-time and full duration undergraduate programme at the Queen’s University Belfast campus. Exclusions apply.
- The Queen's Excellence Award is exclusive to students on eligible full duration undergraduate programmes.
- September students must achieve GPA of at least 60% in an eligible full-time and full duration undergraduate programme in academic year at the Queen’s University Belfast campus to receive the award following enrolment in the next academic year.

No separate application for this scholarship is required. If you achieve a 60% GPA at the end of the academic year and meet the eligibility criteria as set out in the terms & conditions, you will automatically be awarded a Queen’s Excellence Award following enrolment in the next year of your undergraduate programme. Notifications are normally issued during August and if eligible your award will be credited to your tuition fee account in September.
