Description

Loughborough University is delighted to offer a scholarship to support eligible master's students domiciled in Africa. The scholarship has been created as part of the Loughborough University Strategy 2030, ‘Creating Better Futures. Together’, to help African students access postgraduate-level study at Loughborough University.

Benefits

For those starting in January 2026:

20% off the applicable tuition fee.

For those staring in September 2026:

£6,000 scholarship awarded as a tuition fee discount only and is not applicable to accommodation or living costs whilst in Loughborough.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold an offer to study a full-time master's course with Loughborough University (Loughborough or London campus) for October or January entry intakes
  • Be a self-funded student
  • Be domiciled (permanently living) in Africa
  • Be an international fee status applicant

It is not possible to be in receipt of more than one Loughborough University scholarship. If you are eligible for different University awards, you will be awarded the single scholarship which provides the highest discount to your international tuition fee.
