Description
There are at least 400 bursaries (in the first year of study) available to 'Home' fee-status students who start an undergraduate course at Kingston University in September.
Benefits
The Kingston Bursary is worth £2,000 (in the first year of study).
Eligibility
There is a limited number of bursaries available. As a result, meeting the criteria does not guarantee a bursary. However, to be considered for the bursary, you must meet all the criteria below:
- You must be a home fee-status student with a tuition fee of £9,790.
- You must have firmly accepted an offer from Kingston University for an undergraduate course.
- You must be starting Year 1 of your undergraduate course in September (Foundation Year 0 or 'top-up' students are not eligible).
- You must not be studying on a course eligible for the NHS Learning Support Fund (Nursing or Midwifery courses). If studying one of these courses, please ensure you apply for the Learning Support Fund from the NHS.
- You must have a household income of £25,000 or less, assessed by Student Finance England or Student Finance Wales.

Eligible students will be identified automatically and you do not need to apply for the bursary. However, to be considered for the Kingston Bursary, you should:
Firmly accept your offer from Kingston University for September entry.
Apply for your student finance as soon as possible after submitting your UCAS application by the deadline of 30 June.
Have a household income assessment fully completed by Student Finance England or Student Finance Wales. Without this completed assessment (with all evidence verified), you cannot be considered for the bursary.
Have your course with Kingston University listed as your first choice in your Student Finance application and have consented to share information with the University.
Fully enrol as a student at Kingston University in September.
