Description
Academic Distinction Scholarship is for out-of-state residents transferring to Ball State.
Benefits
The award is a waiver of the out-of-state resident portion of tuition and fees. This does not include room and board charges, technology fees, or the Health Center fee.
Eligibility
In-state students, students with previous bachelor's degrees, and re-enrolling Ball State students are not eligible for this award.
To be eligible for this award, you must:
- be a non-Indiana resident
- earned an associate in arts or associate in science degree with a minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale from an accredited out-of-state community or junior college
- have enrolled full-time at Ball State for the first fall or spring semester immediately following completion of the associate degree
- be an undergraduate enrolled in on-campus classes as a full-time degree seeking student
