Description
Aberystwyth University holds a special place in the hearts of anyone who has studied here and they are keen to support students if they wish to continue studying with them. That is why they developed both the AberGrad Award and the Caru Aber International Award.
Benefits
The Caru Aber International Award gives a £1,000 tuition fee discount (for every year of study) to any international fee-paying student who spent a period of time studying with us as an exchange, study abroad or summer school student. This award can also be applied to alumni of the University who graduated more than one year ago.
Eligibility
- You must be classified as a new student paying international tuition fees.
- You must be admitted to an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate course at Aberystwyth University.
- You must have applied for a relevant course by the specified deadline.
- You must meet standard academic entry requirements for your chosen programme of study.
- You must have previously completed a period of study at Aberystwyth University in one of the following ways:

Submit your degree application directly: You must first submit your application for your chosen degree directly to Aberystwyth University, without using the services of an Education Agent.
Accept your offer: Once you have received a conditional or unconditional offer of a place you must accept the offer by returning your ‘Offer Reply Form’, or by selecting Aberystwyth as your Firm choice through UCAS;
Submit your Caru Aber application: Once you have accepted your offer, you can apply for the Caru Aber International Award by completing this Application Form.
