Are you considering a postgraduate degree in the UK? A GREAT scholarship could be for you!

GREAT Scholarships are jointly funded by Liverpool John Moores University and the British Council. The award will go towards tuition for a one-year Masters programme.

Benefits

In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) is offering £10,000 towards tuition fees for a one-year master’s programme to students from Kenya and Turkey as part of the GREAT Scholarships 2026 scheme.

Eligibility

To apply for the GREAT Scholarship, candidates must:

  • hold a passport and be a national of Kenya or Turkey 
  • have received an offer of study from Liverpool John Moores University and have firmly accepted their place
  • not have already studied a postgraduate taught degree
  • have sufficient funds to cover remaining living costs, travel, and other expenses associated with studying in the UK
  • be classed as an overseas student for fee purposes
