Description

The Global Futures Scholarship Undergraduate award - Bangladesh is offered to undergraduate students.

Benefits

Each award comprises £8,000 for the first year of study with a further £8,000 awarded in the second and third years. Continuation of the award is conditional on attainment of 60% in exams and assessments each year. Scholarships will be awarded in the form of a discount on published international tuition fees.

Eligibility

  • Applications will be considered from international fee-paying students domiciled in the following countries: Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
  • To be considered as domiciled in these countries, applicants must have predominantly resided there during the last three years.
  • We consider your permanent country of residence to be the country in which you are ordinarily resident, not a country where you are only living for the purpose of full-time education.
  • Applicants must be applying for direct first-year entry and have, or be working towards one of the following qualifications:
    • Indian Standard XII (CBSE, CISCE, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Gujarat)
    • AP (Advanced Placement) Exams
    • A-levels
    • IB Diploma
  • Scholarship applications will be assessed on any previous examinations, predicted grades in the above-listed qualifications and the strength of the personal statement.
  • Applicants must be self-funded (not sponsored).
  • Applicants for Medicine (MBChB), Dentistry (BDS), Architecture, or any courses with an integrated foundation year are not eligible for the award.
