Description
Established through a donation from William Dobbie 1981, the scholarship forms part of the St Andrews Wardlaw Scholarship scheme. The current award is named Dobbie Scholarship (Gateway Programme).
Benefits
£4,400 paid as maintenance but can be used towards University accommodation fees.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be on a Gateway programme.
- Selection is based on financial need and donor-specific criteria.
- Please note that as the Wardlaw scholarships are donor-funded, core personal details may be passed to the benefactors of your scholarship with your permission. This permission is requested in the application form. If you select that you do not wish to be considered for donor funding, you will only be considered for the St Andrews Access Award.
