Description
The scholarship is administered and awarded exclusively by the University of Kent in partnership with the Bestway Foundation. It is available for eligible taught master’s programmes and master’s programmes by research during the academic year.
Benefits
£26,000 covering tuition fees and contributing towards maintenance costs.
Eligibility
- Open to students from, and domiciled in, Pakistan
- Applicants will be shortlisted based on their academic performance
- Shortlisted applicants will also be considered on the basis of financial need.
Applicants must have received a conditional or unconditional offer for a full-time, one year programme† in one of the following disciplines by the deadline in order to be considered for the award:
- Biosciences
- Chemistry and Forensic Science
- Computing
- Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science
- Physics and Astronomy
- Engineering and Digital Design

In order to apply for this scholarship you must have made an application for a programme of study.
Providing you meet the above eligibility criteria, you will then be able to apply for this scholarship via your applicant portal.
NOTE: If you have not received an offer for your programme of study, the option to apply for this scholarship will not appear in your applicant portal. The scholarship deadline will not be extended.
You will be asked to upload a CV, and a statement setting out why you think you should be awarded a Bestway Scholarship, including both academic achievements and financial need. Please also state how you will fund the remainder of your living costs during your time in the UK.
Applications will be considered based on academic excellence. Where students are academically equivalent, the strength of the statement will be taken into account.
