Benefits
As part of our £1.4 million scholarship commitment to Home postgraduate students, our Birmingham Masters Scholarship offers £3,000 via a tuition fee discount to support the brightest and best applicants to commence their Masters study in January or September.
Eligibility
- The scheme is open to Home fee-paying students who have not previously studied at the University of Birmingham.
- You must be commencing an eligible Masters degree in January or September to be able to apply.
- In recognition of the importance of talent retention in the Midlands, we will be prioritising applications from students who have graduated from one of the Midlands-based universities.
- Students of any nationality can apply provided that they are eligible for Home fee status and are intending to study an eligible Masters course in January or September.

To be considered for an award, applicants must, by the deadline, have done both of the following:
Made an application to their intended Masters programme. Please apply through the relevant programme page on the Course finder section of the University of Birmingham website. This must include all of the relevant supporting documentation: references, transcripts if available, and English language certification if applicable.
Completed the Birmingham Masters Scholarships application form.
