The China-UK Legal Innovation LLM Scholarship 2026/27 supports students domiciled in mainland China applying for the Master of Laws (LLM) or LLM Pathway Law Non-Award at King's College London.

Description

The scholarship is designed to recognise applicants from mainland China who demonstrate exceptional potential to contribute to global legal innovation. Preference may be given to applicants who are studying at, or have graduated from, one of the Dickson Poon School of Law's partner universities in mainland China, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, ECUPL, CUPL, and CASS.

Benefits

Full tuition fee waiver (£38,300) for the LLM programme.

Eligibility

Eligible candidates must:        

  • be permanently domiciled in mainland China
  • be classified as Overseas fee status
  • hold an offer at King's for the Master of Laws (LLM) programme or LLM Pathway Law Non-Award programme
  • not already hold a postgraduate degree from King’s or any other institution
