Description
Funded by Maggs Bros. Ltd., one of the world's oldest antiquarian booksellers, the scholarship is intended for an academically strong student whose financial or personal circumstances would otherwise make studying the programme difficult.
Preference is given to UK residents from an ethnic minority background. Scholarship recipients are also invited to undertake an internship at Maggs Bros. Ltd. as part of the MA/MRes History of the Book programme.

Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Hold an offer for the MA/MRes History of the Book.
- Have completed an interview with two members of academic staff.
- Demonstrate excellent academic merit or potential.
- Normally demonstrate financial and/or personal circumstances that would otherwise make undertaking the programme difficult.
- Preference is given to UK residents from an ethnic minority background.
