Description

The Red Dragon Scholarship reflects Cardiff University's commitment to attracting outstanding postgraduate students from Mainland China and Türkiye.

It is available for students beginning a full-time, campus-based taught master's programme in September.

The scholarship is awarded as a tuition fee discount for the first year of study only and is available across multiple application rounds.

Eligibility

  • Must be domiciled in Mainland China or Türkiye.
  • Must have International (Overseas) fee status.
  • Must hold an offer for a full-time, campus-based taught master's programme starting in September.
  • Must accept the academic offer by the deadline for the relevant scholarship round.
  • Must submit the scholarship application by the relevant deadline.
  • Must meet all offer conditions, including English language requirements, by 21 September.
  • Must be self-funded.
  • Cannot hold another Cardiff University scholarship, bursary, or tuition fee discount (except an eligible partner discount).

Applicants must:

Hold an offer for an eligible postgraduate taught programme.

Accept their academic offer.

Complete the online Red Dragon Scholarship application form.

Provide:

Cardiff University application number.

Current or most recent institution of study.

Current or most recent average CGPA and percentile mark.

Submit the application before the deadline for the chosen application round.
