Description
The Master's Excellence Scholarship is a competitive scholarship available to UK students starting an eligible full-time or part-time taught master's programme, including the MRes Biosciences, in the academic year.
Cardiff University has committed up to £500,000 to this scholarship scheme. The award is applied as a tuition fee discount, and part-time students receive half of the award in each year of study.

Eligibility
- Must be classified as a UK (Home) student.
- Must hold an offer for an eligible full-time or part-time taught master's programme.
Eligible programmes include:
- Full-time taught Master's degrees.
- Part-time taught Master's degrees.
- MRes Biosciences.
The following are not eligible:
- Distance learning programmes.
- MArch Architectural Studies.
- Graduate Diploma (GDip), Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert), and Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) programmes.
- MPhil and most other research degrees.

Submit the application by the published deadline.
