Description

The Master's Excellence Scholarship is a competitive scholarship available to UK students starting an eligible full-time or part-time taught master's programme, including the MRes Biosciences, in the academic year.

Cardiff University has committed up to £500,000 to this scholarship scheme. The award is applied as a tuition fee discount, and part-time students receive half of the award in each year of study.

Eligibility

  • Must be classified as a UK (Home) student.
  • Must hold an offer for an eligible full-time or part-time taught master's programme.

Eligible programmes include:

  • Full-time taught Master's degrees.
  • Part-time taught Master's degrees.
  • MRes Biosciences.

The following are not eligible:

  • Distance learning programmes.
  • MArch Architectural Studies.
  • Graduate Diploma (GDip), Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert), and Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) programmes.
  • MPhil and most other research degrees.
