Description
The Bute Energy Bursary is funded through a partnership between Cardiff University's School of Geography and Planning and Bute Energy. It is available to students studying the MSc Spatial Planning and Development on either a full-time or part-time basis.
The bursary supports students who intend to pursue a career in planning or renewable energy in Wales and who plan to achieve Chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI). Two bursaries are available each academic year.
Benefits
£10,700 towards tuition fees.
Eligibility
- Must hold and accept a conditional or unconditional offer for the MSc Spatial Planning and Development.
- May study full-time or part-time.
- Must be Welsh-domiciled (normally resident in Wales for at least three years) and have Home fee status.
- Tuition fees must not be paid by an employer.
- Must intend to pursue a career in planning or the renewable energy sector in Wales.
- Must intend to achieve RTPI Chartered Membership.
- Must demonstrate a strong interest in planning and/or renewable energy.
- Must submit an application by the published deadline.
