Description
The CMA CGM Excellence Fund aims to encourage international students to study abroad by providing financial support for their master's courses. The CMA CGM Group is one of Lebanon's leading employers and has supported 145 students per year since the launch of the scheme in 2021. The University of Bath will support students over the next two years to study a one year master's course with us.
For September 2026, they have four full scholarship awards available for international students and students from Lebanon on selected master's programmes who wish to study at Bath.
Benefits
This is a full scholarship award and covers:
full tuition fee waiver
a minimum yearly stipend rate of £20,780 in line with UKRI stipend levels
Travel costs, visa costs and English language tests are not included as part of this scholarship.
Eligibility
In order to apply for the CMA CGM Excellence Fund for the Lebanese Scholarship, you must:
- demonstrate evidence of outstanding academic merit
- be a national of Lebanon; priority will be given to those currently residing in Lebanon
- have applied for one of our one-year eligible master's course listed above for September 2026 entry
- have international tuition fee status
- demonstrate a strong case for financial support/socio-economic need
Please note, we have two scholarships available to students from Lebanon. Priority may be given to individuals who have not previously completed a degree outside of Lebanon.
In order to apply for the CMA CGM Excellence Fund for the International Scholarship, you must:
- demonstrate evidence of outstanding academic merit
- have applied for one of our one-year eligible master's course listed above for September 2026 entry
- have international tuition fee status
Please note, we have two scholarships available for international students (excluding Lebanon).

The deadline for scholarship applications is 8 April 2026.
