Recipients of the Kinder Morgan, Inc. Endowed Scholarship in Engineering will be selected from applicants meeting the eligibility requirements.

Eligibility
- Applicants must be enrolled in or admitted to a degree-granting program in the School of Engineering at UAB and must have declared civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or mechanical engineering as a major
- Applicants must be a rising junior or senior
- Special consideration be given to underrepresented students including but not limited to first generation college students; students who have faced challenging social, economic, educational, cultural or other life circumstances; students who demonstrate a commitment to bringing diverse people together, and/or demonstrate achievement and determination in the face of personal challenges.
- Preference will be given to support to students for whom affordability may be an obstacle and who might otherwise be unable to attend the University.
